Welcome To Emma's Place

Emma’s Place is a nurturing community space for children with autism and developmental differences. Inspired by Emma, a little girl as rare and beautiful as an orchid.

At Emma’s Place, our mission is to craft gentle, joyful, sensory-friendly experiences that allow every child to feel not only safe but also accepted and celebrated for who they are. We believe that a nurturing environment enhances well-being and promotes inclusivity.

From our calming Trunk-or-Treat events, which provide a stress-free alternative to traditional Trick-or-Treating & Fall Festivals, to Santa Meet & Greets and our dedicated sensory play days filled with engaging activities tailored to diverse needs, we prioritize creating spaces that foster joy and acceptance. We also make it a point to greet each child with a warm and friendly hello, nurturing connections, and building a sense of community.

At Emma’s Place, everything we do is grounded in love, understanding, and a commitment to inclusivity, ensuring that every child experiences the joy of belonging.

We Need Your Help!

a beautiful picture the future autism center

Every year, thousands of children with autism and developmental differences do not receive the help they need due to systemic barriers such as long waiting lists for diagnoses, insufficient resources in schools, and backlogs in state waivers. Early intervention is crucial, so this lack of support leaves families struggling to access essential therapies and educational tools.

Our mission is twofold: first, to raise awareness within our local communities about the importance of understanding and supporting children's individual needs and identities. We strive to educate families, educators, and community members about the diverse experiences and backgrounds of children.

We envision a future where neurodivergent children and their families flourish in a supportive environment, rather than merely blending in. Our long-term aspiration is to establish a full-scale recreation and resource center, thoughtfully designed to cater specifically to the diverse needs of children with autism and those who are developmentally different. This center will be a lively and inviting space, filled with vibrant colors and adaptable facilities, where each child can explore their interests and develop their strengths. It will be created with immense love and care, incorporating insights from experts and individuals with lived experiences to ensure that it is a nurturing haven grounded in a profound understanding of neurodiversity.
